AES El Salvador
At AES El Salvador our commitment to operate in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner while creating value for the communities we serve is what drives us to innovate in our daily entrepreneurial work.
Distribution Division
We develop modern digital tools and implement cutting-edge technology to transform and streamline our operations and electricity distribution services, providing an integral experience to our more than 1.56 million customers of AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO and AES DEUSEM.
Generation Division
Deliver affordable non-polluting energy is also our purpose. Through our Bósforo 100 MW solar photovoltaic project (AES-CMI partnership) with 10 plants of 10 MW each; from our solar plants Cuscatlán Solar, Opico Power, AES Meanguera del Golfo - which combines an innovative solar generation system with battery storage - and Moncagua, of 10 MW, 5.2 MW, 1.3 MW, and 2.5 MW, respectively; as well as from our biogas-based power plant Nejapa, of 6 MW, we contribute to preventing the emission of about 304 thousand tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
Solutions Division
We accompany the transition towards a sustainable energy future thanks to our Solutions business line, through which we implement important efficient public lighting projects for the industrial and commercial sectors, solar generation for self-consumption and energy storage, among others.
