As part of its sustainability strategy, AES is driving the adoption of innovative energy solutions and recognizing institutions that are joining this effort to achieve a more efficient, competitive, and above all, environmentally sustainable industrial and commercial sector, committed to creating a better future for El Salvador.
On December 2nd, AES El Salvador held its third annual "Solutions - Sustainable Innovation" event, recognizing institutions and companies that, throughout 2024, have joined its efforts to continue driving the country's energy transition and building a more environmentally friendly future.
In this edition, 18 institutions were recognized for developing projects alongside AES El Salvador in any of the following categories: Electromobility, Solar Plants, Solar Roofs for Self-Consumption, Energy Efficiency Audits, and Implementation of Integrated Electrical Systems.
At AES El Salvador, we believe that recognizing companies and institutions that have implemented these types of solutions is very important, as it allows us to give visibility to these efforts that can serve as inspiration for other entities.”, said Abraham Bichara, AES El Salvador’s MBL.
Likewise, during the event, attendees had the opportunity to participate in a presentation on Artificial Intelligence applied to business, given by an international expert in the field, where they learned how this technology, which is changing almost all aspects of society, can be used in their daily work to improve their production processes.
"By creating these spaces, we complement our efforts to provide innovative energy solutions. Our clients can learn how to apply these technologies to their businesses, boosting efficiency, profitability, and sustainability," said Bichara.
With this, there are now 59 institutions that have been recognized by AES and have joined as strategic partners to promote the adoption of efficient energy technologies that not only meet their operational and profitability needs but also help them achieve their sustainability goals, thus accelerating the future of energy in El Salvador.
