AES El Salvador: More than 10 years promoting energy efficiency in the industry

For more than a decade, AES El Salvador has implemented energy efficiency training aimed at its industrial customers. Since its launch, this initiative has benefited 453 companies, mostly local, as well as some regional ones, in addition to public institutions. Through this program, specialized technical training has been provided to integrate energy efficiency practices and photovoltaic energy for self-consumption into their operations.

As a result of this effort, 641 people have acquired the necessary knowledge to implement strategies that optimize energy use, allowing companies and institutions to reduce their environmental impact, improve their competitiveness, and use more sustainable technologies.

Over these 12 years, AES El Salvador has highlighted that the courses offered have been improve the use of energy resources in the country. "We are proud to celebrate this decade of achievements together with the companies and professionals who have trusted in our commitment to energy efficiency. This effort not only benefits companies economically but also contributes significantly to the environmental sustainability of our country," said Miguel Campos, Vice President of Electric Market and External Relations at AES El Salvador.

AES El Salvador continues to work with the industry to promote a culture of energy efficiency and consolidate its role as a strategic ally on the path to a more sustainable future for El Salvador and the region.
