The sponsors of the activity are the distribution companies of AES El Salvador (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, and AES DEUSEM).
The participating product includes the payments of electricity service bills from natural persons with Residential and General rates from the AES El Salvador group companies and/or the data update registration on our web portal through Business WhatsApp 2506-9000 made during the promotion period.
The prize to be awarded in the promotional activity:
12 prizes have been defined, which will be raffled in a single draw to be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Cojutepeque Commercial Office of AES CAESS, located at 3ª. Calle Oriente and 8 Avenida Norte # 17 D, Barrio Santa Lucía, distributed as follows:

Ways to conduct the draws:
The draws will be conducted electronically and randomly, through an electronic tombola, where the selection will be made randomly among all participating accounts. 12 winners and 12 alternates will be selected, identified by the distribution company through the NIC number corresponding to their paid bill and/or updated data.
Mechanics of selecting the winners:
The draw will be attended by a municipal delegate, personnel from the Corporate Commercial Directorate, and Regional Commercial Management, to validate the transparency of the draw dynamics.
Verification:
- Payment date in the Open system before the due date, including the due date
- Full payment of the bill
- Residential and General rate customers
- User name
- Payment for electricity consumption
- Data update during the promotion period
Participants:
All natural persons with services classified under Residential and General rates who have paid their bill on time in November 2024 and/or December 2024 and/or have also updated their data through our Business WhatsApp 2506-9000 participate in the promotional activity. On-time payment is understood as the deadline established on the bill. It also applies to customers with overdue bills who pay pending bills plus the on-time bill for November 2024 and/or December 2024.
Restrictions:
A. Once a participant wins a prize, they do not participate in the draw for the following prizes of the same draw.
B.Only electricity consumption bills apply. (does not apply to various charges, negative balances, installment agreement quotas, irregularities presented in the last 12 months, customers subsidized with the total bill value.)
C.In this promotion, accounts registered under the names of Politically Exposed Persons of El Salvador cannot win.
D. In this promotion, accounts in the names of employees of the AES ES Group Distribution Companies (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, AES DEUSEM) cannot win.
E.Accounts with irregularity records or those detected with irregularities in the supply with customer responsibility during the period cannot win in this promotion.
How to Participate:
All natural person users with R and G rates who pay the bill for November and/or December on time at any authorized collectors and/or have updated their data through Business WhatsApp 2506-9000 between November 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, participate.
For the delivery of the Prizes:
The winner will be notified by phone call, email, or letter notification that they have been favored in the draw. Contact details will be based on the information of the customer registered in the AES commercial system.
Commercial Agency supervisors will coordinate with the winning customer the time and date of prize delivery. To collect the prize, the Customer must present the duly paid bill(s) or proof of payment and their Unique Identity Document (DUI). If these documents are not presented, the prizes cannot be delivered to the winner, and the prize will automatically be awarded to the alternate account.
When the winner presents themselves to claim their prize, a delivery record will be made, stating that THE DISTRIBUTOR has delivered the corresponding prizes.
The draw prizes can be claimed by the winners starting 3 business days after the draw date and during the next 15 business days of their notification.
If the draw winner does not present themselves to receive their prize within 15 business days, the prize will be assigned to the alternate winner, who will have a maximum of 10 business days after being notified to collect their prize. If the alternate winner does not present themselves to collect their prize within 10 business days after being notified, the prize will remain in the possession of THE DISTRIBUTOR for future draws.
Special Cases:
- In the case that the person registered in the distributor's commercial system has been selected as the winner and has passed away, the family members must present a death certificate and a copy of the deceased's identity document to claim the prize.
- In the case that the person registered in the distributor's commercial system, selected as the winner, is outside the country, the family members must present one of the following documents: a letter authorizing the family member to collect the prize, along with the winner's identity document, or a copy of the passport, or a power of attorney assigned to the family member to carry out procedures.
- In the case that the person registered in the distributor's commercial system, selected as the winner, rents the house, the tenant must demonstrate a rental contract for the prize delivery, or evidence that they make the rental payment. If there is no rental contract, they must present a sworn statement by the house user, along with a copy of the DUI identity document, to deliver the prize to the tenant who pays the bill. The legal document format for the sworn statement will be provided by the AES ES Group Distribution Company (AES CAESS, AES CLESA, AES EEO, AES DEUSEM).
Customer Contact Conditions:
To notify the winners, a publication will be made on the distributor's social networks, followed by a maximum of 3 contact attempts to the main winner, through phone call, email, or letter notification. If the winner is not located in the 3 attempts plus the publication, the prize will be awarded to the alternate. If the alternate cannot be contacted within the established period, the prize will remain in the possession of the distributor.
Responsibility, Conditions, and Restrictions for the Distributors:
Release of responsibility of the winner for the distributor, regarding the prize: If the winner does not claim their prize within the deadlines established in these bases, by not receiving it, they automatically release the distributor from the responsibility of the prize in the future, and it will proceed as described in the paragraph FOR THE DELIVERY OF THE PRIZES.
AES El Salvador is not responsible for the warranties of the raffle products. To make the warranty effective, the winning participant must process it directly with the supplier warehouse.
